We are so excited! Our house is finally under contract and should close September 6th (fingers crossed). YEA!!! This is a big relief to us, although it is bittersweet because we really loved our sweet town. After the children cheered for joy, some tears were shed over friends that we will not get to live near again. :( But it does bring us a step closer to the next chapter in our lives.
Clint has been busily applying for teaching positions in California. Turns out things haven't gone quite as smoothly with Intek as we'd hoped. Personally, I'm excited for him! Teaching is in his blood now, and I hope he gets a job offer because I know he'll be very happy teaching again. And I won't complain about the pay or the benefits!! It is a tough market...we have jointly filled out close to 150 applications throughout the state. He's had close to 10 interviews now. We're praying that we'll be sent where we are needed.
